The regiment does approximately 8 to 10 events a year,
mostly concentrated in the spring and fall months. So as
to not waste anyone's time on reenactments of limited
interest, or non-historical events, and to ensure
maximum participation, we have chosen to do a small
quantity of high quality events. These can be a living
history encampment at some historic site, a battle
reenactment on an original battle site, or a performance
of dragoon tactics of the 18th Century. Members are
required to make 2 events a year plus 1 winter drill
session.
Our geographical range of events is approximately
within a 150 mile radius of Philadelphia.
The Calendar of Events is normally established at our
January Annual Meeting, with periodic updates
throughout the year. Event information is conveyed to
the membership through the troop newsletter, "The
Trumpet" two weeks prior to the events, and also with
e-mail updates.
